APGA Security and Integrity Foundation

The American Public Gas Association Security and Integrity Foundation (SIF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation created in 2004 by the American Public Gas Association (APGA). The SIF is dedicated to promoting the security and operational integrity and safety of small natural gas distribution and utilization facilities. The SIF focuses its resources on enhancing the abilities of small gas system operators to prevent, mitigate and repair damage to the nation’s gas distribution infrastructure.


American Public Gas Association

The American Public Gas Association (APGA) is The Voice and Choice of Public Gas in Washington, D.C.  APGA is the not-for-profit nationwide association for publicly- and community-owned gas utilities and represents over 700 members in 36 states.  We advocate on issues that impact our members and the communities they serve. We also work across the nation to educate our members on best safety practices, legislative issues, effective business and operational strategies, and host conferences promoting the benefits of natural gas as a responsible and efficient energy source.


Municipal Gas Authority of Georgia

The Municipal Gas Authority of Georgia (the Gas Authority) is the largest non-profit natural gas joint action agency in the United States, serving 78 Members in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Pennsylvania and Tennessee who meet the gas needs of approximately 250,000 customers. The Gas Authority was formed in 1987 by an Act of the Georgia General Assembly to assist Municipal Members who own and operate natural gas distribution systems. Members' systems are located on three interstate pipelines: Southern Natural Gas Company (Southern Natural), Transcontinental Gas Pipeline Company, LLC.  and Texas Eastern (TETCO).
